During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on the project\u2019s progress, technical aspects, timelines and issues related to water supply. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department, Dr. Rajesh Rajora, to ensure regular and effective monitoring of the project works to prevent any unnecessary delays at any level. He said that the Sleemanabad Tunnel Project must be completed without fail by the upcoming Rabi season.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"390\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/shaktinews.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG-20251224-WA0124-1.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" style=\"object-fit:cover;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/shaktinews.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG-20251224-WA0124-1.jpg 390w, https:\/\/shaktinews.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG-20251224-WA0124-1-217x300.jpg 217w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p><br>Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla stated that the state government accords the highest priority to farmers\u2019 interests and is committed to ensuring the timely and quality implementation of irrigation projects. Completion of the Sleemanabad Tunnel Project will enhance agricultural productivity in the Satna\u2013Maihar region and lead to an increase in farmers\u2019 income. He further said that the primary objective of the project is to ensure the timely availability of irrigation water to farmers. Therefore, it must be ensured that water reaches the fields and farmers receive its actual benefits.
