Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, along with his spouse, performed a holy bath and worshipped at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. At this divine confluence of the sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati, he prayed for the welfare and prosperity of all and the progress of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said, “I feel blessed to take a dip at the Triveni Sangam during this auspicious Mahakumbh. This place is not just a pilgrimage but a symbol of spirituality, devotion, and culture. The holy waters here purify and enrich human life.” He appreciated the arrangements made for the Mahakumbh, adding that the facilities provided for the smooth darshan and bathing of millions of devotees are exemplary.
Shri Shukla prayed to Maa Ganga for the prosperity of the state and the good health of its citizens. He also urged all devotees to ensure cleanliness of the Ganga and contribute to environmental conservation during this Kumbh.
The Deputy Chief Minister remarked that the Kumbh is a carrier of India’s cultural heritage and spiritual traditions, introducing the global community to the power and peace of Indian spirituality.
