“Protecting Students’ Future is the Government’s Top Priority: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla”

Reviewed Various Departmental Matters at the Ministry

Bhopal, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla stated that safeguarding students’ future remains the government’s topmost priority. He instructed officials to complete the counseling process for suitable nursing colleges by January 15, in line with the directives/orders of the High Court. Approximately 19,000 students will get benefitted. Shri Shukla conducted a comprehensive review of various matters related to the Public Health and Medical Education departments at the Vallabh Bhavan Ministry.

Complete the Recruitment Process on Time.
Shri Shukla emphasized that to strengthen healthcare services, recruitment for the posts approved by the Cabinet must be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He directed officers to have coordination with Employee Selection Board and Public Service Commission to expedite the recruitment process by fulfilling procedural formalities swiftly. Shri Shukla also reviewed the latest status of NEET PG counseling and instructed officials to promptly complete the process while prioritizing students’ interests, as per court directives.

Streamline Pharmacy Licensing for Efficiency and Transparency.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed necessary actions to ensure the timely posting of ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives) as per court directives. He also emphasized the need to make the pharmacy licensing process simpler, more transparent, and faster by introducing necessary provisions. Principal Secretary Public Health and Medical Education Shri Sandeep Yadav, Health Commissioner Shri Tarun Rathi, Director of Nursing and Paramedical Education Shri Manoj Sariam, and Registrar of the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council Shri K.K. Rawat were present.
